Logistics Assistant (1 position) Position Report to Logistics OfficerLocation: Hodeida, Yemen                      Contract Duration: 10 months.
JOB PURPOSE:To provide logistics support for the Oxfam programme in Al – Hodeida,Yemen.
Main Responsibilities
Transport
·         Processes vehicles movement and payment and do the movement reports.·         Arranges for visitors airport transfers·         Prepare monthly generator reportStorage·         To ensure that the proper administrative procedures and standards for order follow-up, ordering, stock keeping and dispatch are followed:Collects , receives and issue out goods from  the warehouseProduce monthly report for the ware house.Ensures all items in the store are arranged neatly and orderly in order to facilitate quick access for stock reconciliation at any time or during spot checksAdministration·         To ensure frequent filing and maintenance of logistics files for easy access and retrieval (related to procurements only), requisitions, purchase order forms, waybills, and all other documents.·         and record all payments before forwarding to finance for processing.·         Raise all Logistics related requisitions and ensure they are properly and fully authorised           Skills and Competencies Required for this Role
Essential
·      BA degree in marketing, business administration or any related field.·      Flexibility under pressure .·      Good experience in: purchasing, warehousing, vehicle management.·      Good written and spoken English.·      Ability to keep clear and concise records.·      Valid clean driving license .
