CARE International in Yemen    
CARE International is currently seeking a Part time Administrative Assistant who will be responsible for providing support to the Field Coordinator of Aden INGO sub-Forum and for the day-to-day administration of the Forum offices. The Administrative Assistant will also be required to respond to requests for information from Aden INGO sub-Forum members.


Location:Aden, Yemen
Responsibilities:
Office Assistance & File documents:·         Maintain proper filing systems, ensuring documents are easily accessible as needed. ·         Respond to requests for information from Aden INGO sub-Forum members to assist with coordination between INGOs and other stakeholders.·         Update the office contact database and mailing lists to ensure that they are up-to-date.·         Update the monitoring and evaluation data systems to ensure accurate tracking of project progress towards targets.·         Support staff during the preparation of meetings and workshops as needed to ensure smooth running of proceedings.·         Provide administrative support for procurement and finance.·         Liaise with Admin officer and assistant in Yemen INGO Forum and ensure work is completed on a timely and accurate basis.
Assistance for maintaining office premises:·         Maintain office equipments.·         Liaise with supply companies for the maintenance of other office equipment.·         Ensure that office premises are clean and tidy to create a welcoming environment for Office staff and visitors.Other duties·         Translate documents and correspondence into Arabic as needed·         Complete any other tasks as required
Required·         Diploma in Management, Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Computer Sciences, Law, Translation or other relevant discipline·         At least 1 yr experience in providing administrative support·         Familiarity with procurement procedures and/or financial management·         Previous experience in an INGO or other international organization·         Well organized, with excellent attention to detail·         Proficient with Microsoft Office application, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint·         Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic
