TITLE: Volunteer LOCATION: Sanaa & Aden DURATION: 30 working days START DATE: 25thSeptember 2013
Work PurposeThe volunteer will mainly be responsible for providing office support to the F. O in Aden , She is to help the F. O in data entry , in-Kind material distributions , filing and translation of the orphans documents and letters and help in uploading those to Al- Yateem system .Scope of WorkIn general, the volunteer is expected to provide office support to the OCWP – Aden department by providing administrative support such as filling (paper and electronic), supporting in developing concepts for child welfare projects, distributions and so on. The volunteer will be based in Aden’s Office. Main Duties and Responsibilities of the Volunteer· Entering in Bio – Data information for the newly registered orphans· Translating of Letters and other documents to be documented and uploaded in Al- yateem system · Following up with Orphans to ensure completion of all files · Taking photos and videos for the orphans and their families when needed · Preparing attendance list during different distribution projects · To complete filling tasks as requested by OCWP Staff.· To maintain a time sheet of their working hours. · To provide short reports of the work carried out. · Any other tasks requested by Program Manager/ Project Officer relevant to OCWP.
Person Specification· Good report writing skills in English. · Experience of working with people. · Naturally motivating qualities and ability to achieve results.· Excellent IT Skill.
Conditions The volunteers will be paid out of pocket expenses. Volunteers working up to 4 hours a day will be paid YR 1500 per day to cover the transportation costs. Volunteers working more than four hours a day will be paid YR 3000 to cover transportation and lunch expenses.
