Employment VacancyCARE International in YemenCARE International is currently seeking a Human Resources Officer (HRO) who will support the daily administration activities and provide support in the various human resource functions, which include recruitment, staffing, training, staff wellness and development, performance monitoring and executive administration.
Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Sana’a
Responsibilities: Monitor staff performance and attendance activities          ·            Work closely with HR manager to implement and follow up on staff Annual Performance Assessment and Agreement policy (APAA) to ensure the quality of the received documents and meeting deadlines.          ·            Follow up with staff to receive the correct monthly staff  personnel activity report(PAR) on time           ·            Collect approved staff leave forms, ensure their accuracy and file them in the staff personnel files.          ·            Prepare CO staff monthly leave balance according to staff leave forms and collect fields office's leave balance sheets and ensure they are correct          ·            Responsible to maintain confidentiality of all staff and HR information and not sharing this information without prior approval from the HR Manager.
Coordinate staff recruitment in order to ensure a timely organized and comprehensive procedure is used for new/leaving staff          ·            Prepare notices and advertisements for vacant staff positions.          ·            Schedule and organize interviews and participate in applicant interviews          ·            Conduct reference checks on possible candidates          ·            Prepare and coordinate with new staff all necessary hiring documents are completed and in the personnel file.          ·            Inform unsuccessful applicants          ·            Prepare full orientation package for new staff and the orientation schedule with all different departments          ·            Prepare and follow up on staff exit questionnaire and clearance forms at the end of their contracts.          ·            Prepare staff job certificates and also CARE Academy ones.
Staff wellness and capacity building support          ·            Receive health insurance documents from staff, check and ensure they are correct and accurate to send to the insurance company.          ·            Coordinate with the health insurance company to add/delete staff from the policy.          ·            Provide support on staff health insurance needs(chronic diseases forms ,health reimbursement, etc)          ·            Assist the HR Manager in coordination of staff training and professional development activities          ·            Provide Assistance on organizing staff training sessions, workshops and activities
HR documentation          ·            Work closely with HR Manager to maintain human resource data bases to ensure correct recording of all staff and employment related information as required and ensure that these records are protected and confidential.          ·            Receive and follow up on Country Office and project related HR documents (time sheets, contracts, etc.) and maintain an organized and efficient filing system.          ·            Perform other related duties as required.
Required:          ·            Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field          ·            Minimum of 1 year experience in human resources field          ·            Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills           ·            Advanced English language written and communication skills          ·            Advanced computer skills          ·            Ability to work under pressure is essential          ·            Background in gender sensitivity principles desired          ·            Organization and planning skillsApplication Procedure: Interested applicants should send a cover letter and CV (English) by
