Oxfam, an international NGO working in Yemen since 1983. Oxfam announces the following vacancy for its program   Finance Officer  (1 position)  Position Report to: Roving Finance Manager Location: Hodeida, Yemen                        Contract Duration: 10 months.   JOB PURPOSE: Responsible for implementing and maintaining Oxfam and donor financial procedures and effective financial management support to partners.     Main Responsibilities : ·         Establish, maintain and develop financial and accounting systems and procedures. ·         Assist in monitoring grants, programme management budgets, and bring to the attention of Roving finance manager any significant variances. ·         Produce and communicate high quality monthly project monitoring report by 10th of each month in line with their established budget. ·         Prepare Top-up requests, cash-flow forecasts, and meeting deadlines set by the Head, review the cash and bank balances daily and maintain adequate buffer balances ·         Work alongside Project Managers, Budget Holders, Team Leaders and Roving Finance Manager to prepare high quality donor financial reports ·         Checked the monthly financial transactions, their accuracy and Donor reporting references. ·         Assist Programme Team in preparation budget for New Donor proposal, OPAL phasing etc. ·         Undertake and monitor all payments, including partner organisations, and ensure smooth, timely issuing for payments […] قراءة من المصدر (yemen jobs)
